Quality Assurance

Effective quality assurance is essential in making sure your organisation reaches its goals and keeps clients. It gives insight into areas for improvement, as well as celebrating where those in the organisation are doing a great job.

Vicki recently completed the UKROEd Academy programme in this and want to thank UKROEd for some great training.

Is this OK Behaviour?

I often get called into organisations because people are letting their emotions dominate.

This can result in controlling, aggressive or passive aggressive habits, affecting everyone else around them.

It is important to learn to turn down the intensity of emotional reactions, instead of letting feelings and impulses dominate, as in the childhood tantrum. This takes practice, and below are some tips that may help:

1. Focus on potential solutions, rather than problems

2. Listen well to the other person & think before you speak- maybe use the drive thru method mentioned in a previous post (listen, repeat and ask if there is anything else).

3. Take some time out if you feel you really can not control yourself.

4. Exercise regularly to reduce stress.

5. Seek help if you feel your emotions are out of control.

Lego

When did you last build something with Lego?

In this activity, we had teams building the best bridge together in a set time. We then evaluated how well the team communicated, listened to each other, worked together and included everyone on the team.

We followed it up with a session on team skills. (This team won in my opinion, as they built a bridge that had a ramp for wheelchairs and worked really well together).

If you would like to book in a session on the 3 main skills needed to be a good team player, contact office@multiplycoaching, or book in a free session to talk over your needs: https://calendly.com/multiplycoaching/newclient
